"Man sentenced to prison for coercing vulnerable grandparents into surrendering £340,000 of their life savings"

A man, Daniel Tilden, 31, has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for coercing his elderly grandparents into giving him their life savings totaling £384,000 over a decade.

Tilden repeatedly manipulated and intimidated his grandparents, exploiting their vulnerability for his own gain. His actions led to a sense of constant fear and siege within their home.

Despite warnings and bail conditions, Tilden continued to harass his grandparents, ultimately facing charges under the Serious Crime Act.

This case highlights the devastating impact of financial exploitation within family relationships and the importance of protecting vulnerable individuals from such abuse.
