Before attending the 2024 Met Gala, Doja Cat made quite the fashion statement during a shopping trip with fashion designer Guram Gvasalia. The 28-year-old rapper, known by her real name Amala Raina Zandile Dlamini, opted for a bold ensemble, sporting just a pair of thongs and what seemed to be a white bedsheet draped around her. She even strutted through the rainy streets of New York in this eye-catching attire, accompanied by Gvasalia and sheltered by assistants with umbrellas.


Interestingly, it turns out that the bedsheet look was actually a creation by the fashion label Vetements, evidenced by a tag from the brand attached to the fabric. Doja Cat documented the shopping excursion with photos and videos, showcasing her unconventional style and daring fashion choices.


Later that evening, she made another memorable appearance at the Met Gala, initially arriving in a towel before switching into a wet t-shirt dress that left little to the imagination. This series of bold fashion statements solidified Doja Cat's reputation as a trendsetter and style icon in the music industry.
